This song by Vince Gill is rather sad, and it’s titled Go Rest High. I have been to a few funerals and this is the choice of song that is played. This song is about death and where someone goes after they are dead. How that persons work on earth is done and heaven is shouting out for you, so the only thing left for you to do is go rest high on that mountain. Everyone on earth is hurt and missing them, yet heaven is reaching out for him and it’s his time to go.
